The Mayor’s Health Line has over 20 years of expertise in the health sector, We will work hard to help you find an affordable health insurance plan that meets you and your family's needs. Our staff can determine if you are eligible for MassHealth or other health insurance programs no matter what language you speak. To apply, call us at 617-534-5050 or 1-800-847-0710. 
 Massachusetts Public Health Options 

The MA Health Connector is the new marketplace for applying for health insurance, including MassHealth​, Connector Care, or Health Safety Net. These plans will help pay for part of your health insurance coverage if you are eligible.

Children’s Medical Security Plan (CMSP)
provides preventive medical & behavioral outpatient services to children who are not citizens, or for children who are citizens, but family income is too high for other MassHealth programs, and the family has no access to other health insurance. There is a sliding fee for this program.

Medicare is a Health Insurance Program for people age 65 or older, some disabled people under age 65, and people of all ages with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure treated with dialysis or a transplant).

The Healthy Start Program (HSP)
offers comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care for low-income pregnant women.

The SHINE (Serving Health Information Needs of the Elderly) program provides free, unbiased and confidential health insurance information, counseling and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare
