The Metropolitan Boston Emergency Medical Services Council (MBEMSC) recognizes the many contributions made by pre-hospital and hospital personnel involved in Emergency Medical Services. In recognition of these accomplishments, the MBEMSC will be hosting its 14th Annual Awards Ceremony on November 6th to acknowledge Boston EMS members who have demonstrated outstanding work and positive contributions to the field. All individuals and groups are eligible for nomination, regardless of the type of incident, event, time of event, or outcome. This year, three members from EMS Region IV have been nominated for the prestigious awards:
- Boston EMTs Natalie Grillo and Todd Ritch have been nominated for the BLS Provider of the Year Award. This award is presented to an individual(s) functioning in the capacity of the EMT-Basic who performs meritorious service above and beyond the expectations of the profession.
- Boston EMS Captain Robert Haley has been nominated for the Erwin F Hirsch, MD Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors an individual whose career and commitment to the field of EMS has consistently demonstrated vision, leadership, and dedication in Region IV.
Join us in congratulating and honoring all of the award winners. The Region IV Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 6th at 6:00pm at the American Legion Post at 295 California Street in Newton. Tickets are available through the MBEMSC Regional Office. For more information, call
