SEFC is pleased to announce the re-opening of the facility on Monday, February 1, 2021 subject to guidance from Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the state's Workplace Safety Standards. Mayor Walsh announced on January 26, 2021 that the City of Boston will enter into Phase Three, Step One of the Re-opening Massachusetts Plan on February 1, 2021.

The SEFC will open at 25% capacity per the order and all members, visitors and workers will require appropriate face coverings, except where unsafe due to medical issues. Social distancing requirements and strict adherence to all safety and hygiene protocols will be enforced as outlined on the state's COVID 19 website.

SEFC Management will continue to monitor the Boston Public Health Commission, state and CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of all guests and staff. The re-opening is subject to change per guidelines issued by the City of Boston, Boston Public Health Commission, or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
