SERVICES, PLANNING AND EVALUATION COMMITTEE (SPEC)
Each year, based on the assessed service needs within the Boston EMA, SPEC reviews funded service categories and develops the Priority Setting Process. The committee also proposes new service categories that should be made available in the EMA based on need and service gaps. This committee conducts the Assessment of the Administrative Mechanism, a survey that collects feedback from Part A funded agencies about the procurement and distribution of funds process with the recipient. The committee then analyzes the feedback and makes recommendations to the recipient.
